I am hooked up to a novak ballistic 13.5 with +5 on the timing end bell ,gear ratio 5.427 and motor temp has not been over 120degF
It is verry quick and is as quick as anything out there it just my driving that lets me down.
I would like a bit more out of the corners so i tried a smaller pinion but it lost all of its shine so i went back .
Im going to try and ajust setting 2 step by step at my next meeting to see if this helps
Good luck guys
I have an update on my settings and it just gets better,

7-4

9-1
5deg advance on can novak ballistic 13.5 motor 5.427 temp 63degc.
I found it to be a bit smoother on corner exit but more mid power and more top end
this speedo rocks
Good luck guys

I have been running the latest software with 21.5 on
1 - 7 and 8
2 - 8 and 9
3 - 1
4 - 3
5 - 7

and seem to go fastest with the turbo off. We run on a rather small tight carpet track and I can not seem to make much differene with the turbo, so I leave it off. As long as you have a decent fan, I would be trying Page 1 on 7 and Page 2 on 7 and check the temps as you go (with turbo off) and crank it up if it isn't too hot.

Default RB50 or RB30?

Hi,

have some problem with updating my RBS. Max do not know where it is the problem... with ESC or with my programmer. No one runs TW speedos here in Lithuania so no way to test programmer...
So now I think to buy another TW ESC. Will find model to put it in but it have to support brushed motors as well (so no go for RBS). So question is which one I should buy? I do not run low turn motors, only 10.5T, 13.5T and 17.5T. But would like to have all the turbo and timing things... and firmware updates...

I was running a FDR of 4.1 with my 21.5... But not sure if that was the best option. I think for 17.5 I was closer to 5'ish. Around 4.5 to 4.8....

Hey I have been running a 17.5 from team wave and was very impressed. I had a fdr of around 4.3 with temps of 120-130 but running no timing on the tekin rs pro but had plenty of battery power which was the key and made it run nice and cool. I am running lrp 5900mah 50c batteries. So what ever the motor was asking of my system it was well up to the task and also running 12 gauge wet noodle instead of 14 gauge which most use. Every little bit helps dont just think gear ratio is the only thing to look at...
Good luck

If my motor is over heat, should I lower timeshift or turbo?

Timeshift is now 7 and turbo 5
