This may be a good time to ask for a new CARD layout at the same time you bring out new firmware as mine is totally out of date so if you bring out firmware v5.0 then a lay out card with v5.0 on it because trust me this is getting so confusing

That is the wrong card for the most current update.

If you go back several pages someone posted a pdf with the proper layout for the card. Sorry you'll have to page back as I can't remember how far back it is or which post number, but it is back there.

Thats what I mean we want card updates to go with the firmware


I really would like to see the forward and reverse on the new update please along with 1s Lipo cut off

Still Confused! I`ve downloaded V202 and then when I load the firmware it says the filename is V1.03? What am I doing wrong?

My New RBS has arrived . . . im a happy bunny

Right its loaded with RBS 1.0 firmware so it has the reverse in it

Now I have seen all the post re gearing 4.5 to 5.0 FDR ( final drive ratio )

My question is. In a car with a ratio 1.1 no gear box etc Mardave / 1/12th with tyre size of 53mm and a 13.5 motor and 1S Lipo what should the gearing be ( dont want to blow it up )

no its correct

Thats what I want . . . When I bought my ESC it had forward and reverse now with the latest firmware it has not

So the updates are no good for quite a few of us . . we WANT reverse

and for us 1cell lipo the cut off is needed as well ie 3.2 / 3.1 /off

It would be nice if they release two 2.02g stock and reverse

and they call it 2.02S and 2.02R one has stock / sportsman and the other forward / Reverse

Well with all the posts and e-mails I have sent I would have thought some one would be kind enough and replied to help a customer out

Cannon. . . you may be right if they treat people like this Im not a happy bunny at the moment.

I left team wave because they wanted me to pay $74US for a near new RB50speedy when mine caught on fire from normal use :-(

I use a TW 13.5 motor on a RB50 running 2.02G, at my local track (Meyersdal - MMRC)

When I first started setting it up, I used the settings posted here on the forum when the 2.02G software first was released.
While the car was fast, I found it lacked kick out of the corner.

Since then I have dropped my rollout to 25.4 (I use to run a rollout in the mid thirty's) and now make use of the following settings.....

Time Shift = 7
Gain = 2
Turbo = 7
Kick In = 6
Drive Profile = 5

Now the car is just as fast (if not faster) down the straight and it has awesome kick out of the corner.

Temps when I come off after 5-6 min of running are in the 60 degree celsius.

In a nutshell, I find that running a lower rollout with higher turbo and drive profile settings, makes for a faster car on my local track.
The settings and rollout I use, are very similar to what the fast guys are using with their Speed Passions.

This is.correct, lower FDR's usually offer more power but eventually more heat. The reverse was removed from the software during development as every track I have ever been too dose not allow the use of reverse. If you get the option to switch reverse back on then you lose another function.
