Default Yokomo BMS vs Eagle CDC

Hi,

Anyone has any experience with both chargers,
wondering which one should I get ?

Also, any idea if Yokomo BMS print the Average Voltage
and discharge time after the battery has been discharged ?
I am under the impression that it doesn't. Also, what about
the Eagle CDC ?

Please advise.

I believe the Integy 16x5 that we use here in the US is an Eagle CDC with a different label. The charger is solid and the only thing that would have pulled me from a Novak Millenium.

Hi man,
I have the CDC from swan, but I got the bigger version which comes with a built in power supply. Yes after discharging the battery it shows you the mAh discharged, time to discharge and average voltage.

Look at the forsale thread soon, I *might* selling my cdc charger. Getting a 12VDC only charger and lead acid battery for ease of use at races. Not that I go for races kekeke.

Regards,
Alvin

I don't think many have the Yokomo charger outside Japan. They have small problem because the Charger is made by GM and QC is not perfect.

I am using one now and have to put off with it from the unit been auto shut-off if someone hit the charger by accident while I am charging.

However, yes, it comes with ave Volt after disch.
And the unit have one advantage, is the Yokomo charge functions. You can charge at very very high amps and the battery will stay cool. The function actually charge the pack for high amps for few secs and than with low amps for very short time than high amps again but at linear charge mode. up to 10amps for sanyo HV.

Many thanks for the advise.

I just realised that the Yokomo BMS is around SG$400++ vs the CDC is around SG$200++. I think I will get the CDC and hopefully Alvin willing to sell me his.
