Default XRay T2R

Whats Up All,
Time for my 11 year old to up his game but I'm not sure he's ready for a $500.00 Xray. Does anybody know the buzz with the T2R? It's my understanding they suspended manufacturing, is there another non-$500 car in the works? I've really grown to appreciate Xrays over the years and I'd like for him to have one. Not to be rude but I'm only after a new on.

I think your to late. The only way to get one now is to buy it used. Its not even on their website anymore. Who knows maybe they will bring it back. Good luck. I thought about getting one but its been backordered and no one knows when its coming. I even posted in the Xray forum but no one who works or moderates the forum would even touch my question. I am getting the Team Losi Type R.

The Xray T2R production has been suspended so far due to the rest of the lines popularity. If you don't want to get a $500 chassis, I'd recommend the TC5.

I've not seen any in-stock online for some time now, even the '007 has dried up.

I've raced with a used '007 and several other people I race with bought used Xray's as well. The good thing about Xray is they they are pretty strong, and many parts from the T2R, '007, and '008 interchange, so you can't go wrong buying used as long as you check out the seller and see some pics first.

I'm pretty sure I read in an Xray newsletter that the T2R has been discontinued.

Your best options:

TA05R $200 inc shipping from www.rc-champ.co.jp

TC5 $335 + shipping www.amainhobbies.com

Team Magic E4JS (not released but should be around $175 + shipping)

The TA05R is a proven budget racer, the E4JS looks nice but in unproven.

the t2r is dicontinued but parts are not. you can still get parts for them because the are the same as all the t2's. go to stormer hobbies web site. they still have some t2r's that are brand new in package.

Default T2007

Saw NIB $350 at GCH in Strathroy yesterday. 008s have made these a great deal.

Must mean there are a few around for about the same.
