Default WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS IT WORTH?

Hi everyone,
My mate just purchased a Electric RC Car and is not sure what it is. He has been told it is a Kyosho. But can someone tell me what brand or model this is? Also, what do you guys think it is worth? It is RTR with all electrics, battery and charger.

I would say its worth about $80. What do you think?

Also, does this car look bigger than a 1/10th scale to you guys? It looks a bit wider than a normal, mainly from looking how much the battery takes up.

Cheers, all advice welcome

Optima mid?? Maybe a later version they built for on-road/rally

Is it belt drive or chain?

It is definately a Kyosho...not sure which chassis. Might be an Optima based car. Kyosho made several on-road cars based off of buggy chassis like the Optima and the Raider. That is why it looks so big...it is 1/10th but being based off of a off-road buggy it ends up being wide.

I would agree... it definately looks like a kyosho. (At least the speed control looks Kyosho)

Resistor and mechanical speed control tells you it is an early version of what ever car it is.

Unless it has some special collectors value that I don't know of, I'd guess around $40?

The reality is that it's worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. I know that sounds like a jerk thing to say but it isn't meant that way. What I mean is that this car probably isn't worth much to 99% of people in this hobby, but I guarantee there is a Kyosho collector out there who would be willing to pay a good bit more for it than anyone else.
