The CEFX and CEFX Raceway sites will still be up and operational for a while. I think eventually the CEFX Raceway site will be dropped when the CEFX site is rebuilt. Anything that we will continue to sell is on there now and yes, you can still order. Most of the other inventory has been already removed though.

Paul - Awesome!! Bring your car, fix it!!

RC Scoring - Hey Doug, you know what's funny about that set of triple A-Mains?? It's always refered to as the Mike/Mike show but you realize if I passed Blackstock in A3 - I would have won!! All 3 of us were going for it!!...lol... It was a better race than you realized!!

Seaball - You haven't seen our current layout!!!

Jeff - There are a few major problems and until everyone gets on the same page (in many ways) it's going to be really tough to move forward and keep tracks open...

I'll try to get someone with a camcorder or something so we can post some of the antics from the final day!!

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words and support!!

Hey Josh,

I'm really sorry to hear you're closing the track. Like some other guys, I tried to make sure I bought what I could from your place. You definately deserved our business, the 2007 Nats were great to watch, and you put a lot of effort to run a great track. Heck you even tried to dig up a fiberglass C12 for me. Thanks for listening to me rattle on, and keeping the track open as long as you did. I sure wish you could have stayed open longer.

Best of Luck,

Ben

Default cefx raceway closing

hey josh: Sorry to hear and read this, but i'm sure you'll come through this bump in the road very well cause your a class act. Also does this mean you will be able to devote more time in developing and promoting cefx products as well as the cefx web site which is in some serious need of an upgrade? Finally with the pro10 pan car class getting some good "buzz" again is cefx going to be offering one? Thanks and good luck in your future plans and happy easter

ben - Thanks and no problem!!

b-man77 - We are definatly going to spend more time working on CEFX to get the mfg. side of the company back up and going. The CEFX web site will be getting a serious rebuild to include all the new products as well as a bunch of other features. CEFX will have a Pro10 car. The car is already designed and done and it's just a matter of finding the time to cut/package the parts and finish the instructions. Trust me, it's on the list and coming very soon as well as many other things from us.

Hi Josh, obviously I am sorry to hear the track is closing. I was just there on Sunday running the CEFX 12th scale for the first time, and I have to say I always was impressed by the car. Now I know for sure!

I am however glad in a way that now you will be able to concentrate more on the upcoming CEFX products and of course....Racing!

I am waiting on the CEFX Pro10 car, put me on the list.

Good luck to you and family

Default pro10 class

hey josh:Thanks for the quick responce. I'd like to know if you think the pro10 class will get back to or close to the popularity it had in the 80's through mid 90's when most of the top on road drivers were running this class? Thanks

Sorry to see the track closing...I was fortunate to be stuck in Detroit a few months ago....I spent every night there driving my 1/12th scale....got some set up help and learned a ton from a top driver....places like that are far and few in between....now even fewer.

Best of luck Josh.....

Sorry to hear about the track closing...From what I've heard and through the people posting here, CEFX Raceway was a top notch facility.

I hope you can find things to keep you busy.

Sorry about another track closing. As mentioned, you have to take the track out in style. 1/8th. Jumping Sedans...

Josh, Met you at the Carpet Nats this past week. Sorry to hear about your track closing which must have been a difficult decision.

Understanding that you are likely the finest combined engineer/driver in this hobby, I am sure those traits will take you far...Very far.

Good luck with you new ventures with CEFX and TOP!

Will there be a light switch rave during the finale?

Josh,

I am sorry to hear that the track is closing... To me the track was an escape. I was able to leave work behind for a day during the week and just come down and practice. I could run lap after lap with absolutely no distractions. I remember one time you took some time away from work and ran some laps with me in 1/12 scale. I would lead and you would follow. I remember thinking to myself man I doing pretty well! I'm staying in front of you with a small distance between us for a number laps! I mentioned this to you and you kind of laughed. I looked over and noticed that you were handicaping yourself by putting your entire finger through the trigger in an effort to slow your reaction time down. Suddenly I found myself slipping back to reality that I am just an average driver.

I will miss CEFX.

Take care Josh.
