Default Low Profile Servo comparable to Futaba s9550/1?

Anyone make a low-profile servo with similar specs to the Futaba 9550/1 since Futaba doesnt seem to want to release the s9551?

Tower says late March on the... case for a 9551. Presumably they'll sell a servo to fit in that case... right? I'm waiting for one, too.

JR makes one similar to the 9550.

I have never used one, but I do use the 9000 series on my 1/8th scale nitro vehicles.

Tower has the whole servo (not just the case) listed for end of April...

FYI:

The 9551 was originally listed for late Nov. Then bumped to late Dec, Jan, Feb, March. Currently it is listed, as you noted, for late April. We shall see. I ordered mine from Tower on Nov 2nd and am still waiting for them to finally show up.

I can only say that I am extremely happy with my 9551. No experience with the KO.

I haven't tried the 9551. I have used the 2413 and still use the 9550. The KO servo seemed to be "edgy" while the Futaba was very smooth. Both work very well and I've never had a problem with either one.
