What's a madza? Some new body shell? If you can't feel the difference, then it shouldn't matter to you. Just pick the one you like best.

Well in all honesty ive not tested them... I was jsut after peoples opinion on what the differences where supposed to be in handling.

Whether or not they make any difference to my driving, thats another matter.

The DNA 2.0 is the 190mm rubber version of DNA foam carpet body.

It is the most aggressive steering rubber tire body shell. It turns is super hard but has poor stability and can make the car feel twitchy and loose if your setup is not perfect.

In order of twitchy to most stable Protoform bodies:

DNA2
Mazda Speed 6
Mazda 6
Stratus 3.0

Both Mazdas are very balanced bodies and this is why they are the ones you see at all the big races.

The Speed 6 for tight tracks and the normal 6 for more flowing tracks.

I have tried the DNA2 and it feel like it turns well but I am always faster with the standard Mazda 6.

I must really be in outer space. Excuse me if this is a stupid question. I'm in the process of getting back into the hobby and apparently much has changed. What's the difference between a rubber tire shell and a foam tire shell? foam carpet body? What the heck is that? How many different variations of bodies are out there now? Is there really a physical difference between these bodies or is it just a bunch of marketing hoodoo?
