People have asked why you would want the Hacker motor to have removeable sensor wires, well besides the damaged harness problem (sending the motor back to Hacker is not a viable option) there is another way to look at it. I want a removeable harness because I use sensorless ESC's. The wire hanging around is a pain and possable hazzard.

Now also seeing that the Losi motors seem to be identical I wonder if they will be ROAR approved sometime soon. I hope so. That would really answer a couple of issues I am having.

I got to race my Pro4 with the E40 17.5 brushless in our GT class today!

I am hooked! I ran the car at a 4.0 fdr and was just about perfect for our track.

The motor gave me all the power I needed! Having not run GT class here all season the motor allowed me to recover from my mistakes! Now I just need to upgrade from my XBR esc

I know I will be going with a Hacker when it's time to upgrade my 12th Scale Motor

Here's a pic of the pinion gear I had to run to get to the 4.0 fdr

Dont get me wrong at all, I have many Hacker motors. They make some of the best motors out. Many of their motors are up there with Neu and Plettenburg. I have one of the 13.5 motors and it has proven much better the Novak 13.5 it replaced in my sons Mi3.

Ok I just checked on the Losi motors, they have them all. However I did not see them on the ROAR list. I will check into that more later.

Yes I know that is what I posted, but thank you for reinforceing it for me. I said in my post that they have them "ALL" meaning all the same ones as Hacker. I will be ordering very soon.

Myself- Finishing 3rd in 10.5 super stock, and the national title in 12th scale 17.5 stock.

Josh Numan ran our E40 10.5T in super stock which allowed him to take the national title as well.

Rob love- which finished 5th in 17.5 Stock and qualified for the super stock main.

I would use the Hacker motor if the sensor wire was plugable. I will be able to compair them head to head for my self. If it is inferior I will know. But thanks for the heads up.

I've been running one in my X-Ray T2 here in Colorado. No wins yet, but 2nd and 3rd every week in the A. I'm sure the motor is not the issue, driver and chassis set up is where I'm off.

Motor has been fast from day one!

Just have to watch over gearing with the 4 cell motor. Better to be a little high on the FDR than a little low.

Sent my motor in to get the sensor wires replaced. Hacker took it apart, found some other problems so they sent me a new motor. Great customer service guys. Much appreciated!

Now I just gotta figure out how to keep up with Rob Love...

Well he seems to get a lot of 1 lap runs in. I supposed if you can encourage him to gun it the first lap and hope he breaks that might be the best strategy. If he ever makes it past that first lap then you are usually in trouble. I hope to be there on the 5th as well. Not sure if Im going to run Pro Stock or 10.5. Id like to try to avoid the 2 (apparently) top 10 drivers in the nation in that class.
