if you use the stock 78 tooth spur I would start with a 28 tooth pinion. I run my 10.5 82/25 in a xxxt-cr. I use the same or higher gearing with a 13.5 and Im going to try going up with the 10.5 also. Ive run multiple 10 & 15 minute races with my 10.5 & that gearing with no problems and havnt been out powered yet. its actually hard to keep the front tries on the ground wet or dry track.

my hacker 17.5 is running great, big shout out to kyle and ertrachter, it's big mike from the Nats, good to hear the motors are doing so well, but it is no surprise.

If anyone is looking for a 17.5....RcMadness in Enfield, Ct has a bunch in stock. They will ship and price is very reasonable.Going to pick one up today for myself.

No just called and ordered a 17.5 for my self. They do however have 13.5's but no 10.5's

I used the Hacker 17.5 at the US Vintage Trans Am Nationals this past weekend with great success. Finished 2nd overall at the end of 5 reedy-style rounds and won the big 50 lap race. The motor was fantastic and I had power to spare.
