are there any aftermarket tuners for 23t motors? i only know of the dinky tuned katanas, but what about others? fantom, DC, etc?

you might want to browse thru www.rcmx.net store (japanese tho); a lot working on yokomo's 23T cans

23 turn motors are mainly for asian market only since its classified as stock motor that is in between 19t and 27turns in terms of speed. US manufacturers dont make this motor since they follow roar stock rules only. A few Euro countries adopted 23turns too.

Here are 23turn tuners I know of:

Atlas, Orion, Tamiya, Yokomo, Tectro, Xenon, Excel, Dinky, ARD & Excel. (Mostly japanese)

A lot of the previous threads are all good suggestions. When I say Tweeked, I should have said tuned. Align the brush hoods, shim the arm to the proper location and spacing. Proper brush and spring combo. Turn the com to the proper diameter. No big secret, just good common sense tuning!

the left pic is used to reset the brush hoods on the other pic it is used for tweaking/aligning the hoods.
