Default Maintenance - 23t

How many cycles(5 min = 1cycle) on average before we should cut the comm and replace the brushes to maintain ''peak'' performance on these 23t stockers?

anyways the Yokomo, Xenon and ECHO new motors just are AWESOME!!!! they really over power the new ATLAS motors....
hey JDM, so is it safe to say that *overall* the best 23T motor at the moment is the ECHO PQ 23T?

and im wondering how's the durability on it?

i noticed that the power output of my Yokomo Tmaxx RSL 23T drops pretty drastically after 2-3 minutes.. durability is quite crap if you asked me.

well I have about 20 packs on the PQ and about 20 on the new yokomo`s.... I really like the PQ Echo and the SR and ST from Yokomo..... but the SR is really picky with gearing....

and Durability with the ECHO is awesome!! I have only cut the com 1 time so I think that it`s due for one more...but I have cut the COm on the SR 4 times allready but that motor just spits out RPM

now for the older T-Man motors...the RSR & RSL were really sensitive to heat... I found out if your motor is loosing power after 3~4 min then Heat is killing it...try gearing down a tooth or two.... they run best in the 80 deg Cel and under

your gearing a RSL at 7.80?? that motor needs more gearing.... around 5.8~6.1 then that motor will fly...it`s more than likely undergeard and getting hot quick

I Gave the new Stand up SPeed version ...a testspin today (5 packs)... so it really has quite a bit of RPM...more than the SR from Yokomo..by 1000 RPM..!!!!!! but I have to gear it differently than the Sr...the final was around 6.1~6.3 for the best overall power and top end..!!
