So guys...racing Stock...23T...Sanyo is ur cells I'm getting 2 myself. and stick to ur GPs if you're running modified.

this might be why the RMP based 23T stocks do better since they don"t draw as much current/amps as the Torque based 23T's ...hence the reason why the GP cell is the one I will stick with ... Torque Baby!!

hey guys

How often do you reckon I cut the comm on a tamiya super stock type RZ. i will be using a mixture of brushes (fantom 315s and tamiya std ones)??

Also what a good ratio on a tb evo 3 to run one of these motors (newbie to this class) Im running on a fairly short concrete pavlion.

thanks guys

Try the ratio within 5.8 to 6.0 I ran my older version RR using that ratio on a track with tight infield and a 100-120ft straight.

Thanks so much guys. Another question if I have seperate brushes(315 fantoms) are they worth installing over the standard tamiya ones. is there a suitable difference?? Or stick with the standard setup??

dunno much 'bout fantom brushes as I'm using putnam green and blue combi or just team hurricane gold brushes with good results. I also use xenon's for bashing around.

Get some Atlas SP sliver sprint brushes.. they are the absolute best for 99.9% of 23T motors

Default Luna ATT 23T motor

hi all,
anyone out there have any experience with the Luna ATT 23t motor yet? does replacing the metal shims inside the motor with teflon shims make any significant differences? thanks....

Yep.. I have tried the ATT..that things got some Crazy torque!!! ..and I tend to gear in the it in the 5.2 range were I would normally gear a Yokomo ST in the 5.5 range... great motor... but as far as shimming it with teflon shims.. don`t waste your time... you will have better luck with getting more from the motor by messing with the brush hoods and getting the comm at it`s sweet spot.. 7.3mm

Dave- I'll be making my maiden voyage into 23T racing at the end of the month at a Yokomo cup race here in S. Korea. My question is what is the fastest Yokomo 23T motor, from pics of the track it seems to be a good size and flowing so an RPM motor would probably be the ticket. I'll have to order it online so a good online shop would be nice too From what I've seen you guys gear these motors pretty high too, what kind of ratio should I start with?

Thanks
