Neil: I did like Tamiya RR. Once we had to attend an endurance race so we bought 8 of them! After breaking in, they lied within 26500 to 28500 rpm, at 7.0V!
For me, I'll align the armature, polish the face of copper bushings, use yokomo 091 brush instead of Tamiya one!

Which one do you have ..??? The silver can or the gunmetal one..??

i have over 30+ of these motors that I have tested and run and I have only found a few that you gear the same.. ..but most 23T`s are geared between 5.3~6.6ish for a medium size track and also what version motor you have

4mm core rotor silver can
3mm core rotor gunmetal can

Basically more RPM
