ATLAS:
progress
solid
force pink
splash gold team edition
KAWADA:
Vstock
Vstock R
VS stock
VS stock R laydown
VX stock R
YOKOMO:
TMAX zero RST
TMAX zero R
TMAX zero SR
TMAX zero LR
TMAX zero ST
TMAX zero LT

in particular to JDM_DOHC_SiR, if you think there are others that are faster than those in the list, could you please post a link or inform me of how to contact the particular shop, preferrably online, so that i can order one,
thanx everyone
any info would be appreciated

thanx
robbie
OK..

Lets see what you have to play with...so.....you want RPM.....?? How bigh is the Track is it bigger than 160M long.?? or is it smaller.... RPM is mice ..but Power is better...

but fron the list that you have I would have to say the newer Yokomo`s would have to be the better option.. The SR and ST are really good motors and they will last almost 10mins on a good GP3300 pack...also,,....if you don`t mind drag brake you can try the LR or LT they have just a slight bit more power at the reduce of efficiency..

Default Luna Glory blue version

Hello im planning to use a team luna glory in a high speed track, should i gear it same gearing as high rpm 27t stock motors such as the trinity monster, matrix v10r ??

What do you think is the ideal gearing for a 414M2 ??

What preperation should be done before using the motor ?? The instructions are in japanes thats why heheee

All help would be appreciated.

Just a question folks. I posted a comment about 23t motors on the 19t thread. One persons comment was that 23t could never be popular in the U.S. and they felt that the current categories of 27t stock, 19t spec and outlaw Mod were just fine they way they are. So what are your thoughts??? Is 23t the better way to go ?? How are your race classes set up as far as motors go??

I feel that it is a natural progression. The need for speed is in all of us, without the expenses of modified.

Lets put it this way I have a few 19T`spec motors that have been Tweaked By a few Reputable motor tuners and none of them can touch some of the "Newer " 23T motors that I have....
no BS.

The LUNA 23T motors..come in many types... I would have to say if you have the STC-R or S or X type them you should be gearing in the 5.5 range...if you have the limmited version of the SI LI SII or LII then gearing shouldn`t go lower than 5.7
but I think you might have the
one of the following
Pink 5.5
Blue 5.2
Gray can with Blue endbell 5.3
this should get you by ...but check the temp of the motor after 4~5 mins and look at the brushes to see if you are gearing it right for you track

The Luna motors come pretty well aligned form the factory...also they come 3d Balanced after Yokomo is done with them...also the brush thats in that version is rather good too

but I would try to break in the bushings and try to Align the hoods is you want the best out of it.. ...Your going to low that motor.... but start the searing at 5.5 and go down from there..

I think that the brushes are the standard Yok` ones..but the ATLAS Sprint silvers work very well

just run the stock ones and when they go bad replace them with the ATLAS ones..

How about a metal polish to help break in the bushings?
