Default How many 13.5 Motors will be approved by ROAR in 2008

There are well over a dozen models of 13.5 motors. How many will get approved by ROAR in 2008.

Here are some 13.5's that are being manufactured:
LRP
NOVAK
SPEEDPASSION
LOSI
AXION
TEKIN
PRINCE
ORION
FANTOM RACING
FEIGAO
PEAK
TRINITY
PUTNUM
GM BRUSHLESS

I.D.K. about these companies but they may make a 13.5:
HACKER
NEU
TRAXXAS
CASTLE CREATIONS

Super Stock Novak Novak 3413SS 13.5 Pro *2/15/2008*
Super Stock LRP LRP Vector X11 Stockspec 13.5T *2/27/2008*
Super Stock Hacker Brushless USA Hacker E-40 13.5T *2/28/2008*
Super Stock Losi Losi Xcelorin 13.5 LOSAB9405

Brushless motors legal with ROAR. New approvals at the end of May or early June. Lipo's Batteries the same, I believe.

They will be approved if they send them in for approval and meet the specs. You can see the form on the roar website. If they don't send them in they won't be approved- it's that simple.

That may be true, but just like Coke Bottling compaines,
Power-Ade, Diet, Mellow Yellow, C2, Dr Pepper, Vault, ect ect come from the same place they are different products that suite differnt taste.

They may be made by Feigao, but there could be noticalbe perfermance differences between each lable. Maybe the difference between batches too as time goes on quality control may get better or worse.

Wahoo, 4 approved only 5 more to go...

Remember that the Roar stock is 17.5, not 13.5.

Are you trying to tell me that my Chevette is not as fast as your Corvette? That's silly, they are both made by Chevy, heck, it says 'vette right there on the side of the car, geez, can't you even read???? LMAO. Yep, everythings the same, well it must be my lousy driving after all!

exactly. isnt it a moot point to "wonder" what 13.5 motors will be approved since 13.5s will be phased out by ROAR in 2009?

threads about ROAR approved 17.5s and 10.5s should be started

How is the 13.5 a mute point?

From my understandings previously it was 27T, 19T, MOD, Now it will be 17.5, 13.5, MOD. The rules for 2008 are just a bridge to cover the changes.

13.5s are still relevant. It just made me think of the 13.5/17.5 confusion that sometimes exists, didn't know if it applied here, just thought a friendly reminder wouldn't hurt.

But then again I forgot about Super Stock. So I was right about some being confused, but unfortunately I'm the schmuck! Good news, I bought a 13.5 before the rules came out, so either way I'm ready. Lets RACE!

Cheers!

I just like the word SUPER.....which is kin to UBER.

Thats why I started the thread and the fact that there are more 13.5's than 17.5's at the moment but few have been approved.
