Default The RC world is changin' (OMG pinions!)

Guess there's no excuse anymore about not being able to get enough gear for a 17.5 or a 13.5 4-cell...LOL

Speedtech just got in the new PRS pinions. Freakishly large. 65T 64 p/30T 64p/87T 64p spur.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

Joe, tell jeff to carry the PRS stuff. Premium quality stuff. and you're behind the times. i got this stuff awhile back for 17.5

question, looking at the pic above, which one is the spur, which one is the pinion? (for those who are curious, thats a PRS 76T spur and a PRS 60T pinion)

hahaha, Juan ran those exact gears to test his 17.5 for the carpet nats. Worked fine on asphalt (actually it could have used another tooth or two), but on carpet it started smelling funny after a few minutes

That funny smell that seems to follow gayzer (very noticible in an indoor venue), has nothing to do with the carpet track.
