hey,
i use a one way up front and in the centre, you loose all brakes in front and when you try and use brakes the whole car does a 180 and then your screwed if there are guys behind you. But if you dont use brakes then it is ok. I have a lot of off power strearing, maybe too much some times though.
Hope that helps

the two one-ways cancel eachother out and it's like neither one is there.
and it's spelled "what".

A front on-way with a locked pulley is the same as a front one-way with a center one-way.
A front diff with a center one-way is like a front diff with no front brakes.
I'm sure there's a little more to it than that, but there's no way they "cancel each other out" when they do the same thing (freewheel when over-run). The only possible difference is the slight additional drag of either the belt or the shaft.

Use one or the other. They'll do the same thing. One-way center the cheaper to use. You still loose 100% of frt braking power. Good on carpet traction on corners.
Understeering, recheck your toe-in frt & rear, referance 1.5deg frt & rear.

Personally, I would only ever use a centre one-way when running a front way.
Basically, if you use dual one-ways, it helps cancel the drag from the front drivetrain, and also reduces any possibility of a tweak effect sue to spinning differences in the front one-way bearings. I also find that using dual one-ways really helps to smooth out the car going into a turn.
Some people have commented that you loose a little throttle response when running a centre one-way, but I can't say i ever noticed that.
As also mentioned, you will loose the braking ability, as it is like applying a handbrake on a real car, as the brakes will only act on the rear wheels. In escense, a one way is good for a track or class where you don't require brakes... stock carpet is a good one
As for cancelling each other out...

generally...with front one way u should have more steering in your car...maybe the understeer is caused by others set up...not the type of diff you are using..

A softer rear spring should help your turn in. As should less rear toe in, or more front toe out, but the latter can be at the cost of reduced exit steering.

Dual oneway is said to give extra top speed. There was a test done with a silver can and the difference was about 1.5kmh in top speed. I guess it would make a difference if you have a long straight...

You said at the start of the thread your car understeers off power, now you say on power... Which one is it ? Either way if you're already using a one way then putting a centre one way won't make any difference on or off power.

Zero difference under power on a straight. A center one-way is the same as a locked center under power. A front one-way is the same as any other diff under power on a straight...adding the two together is like adding zero and zero...you still get zero.
