I was thinking about it, but the regional carpet on road race in Knoxville is that weekend as well. They're about the same distance and I could get a lot more runs in a Knoxville... so I'm not sure.

Hey Big Dog, too bad you might not come down to Mikes for the opener. I was looking forward to hanging out with you and Shawn. It's been a while since Snowbirds. If I don't see ya, good luck at the regional!

Ron, good luck at the Novak race. I'm expecting the 'kx' to be in the lead!! And thanks for the awesome battery pack. It's great making runtime in Mod without worrying about throttle conservation.

Hey Punisher, I got 4 bodies I need painted by this weekend for HT!!

Punisher- thanks, looking forward to coming down there.

Surge- Todd? I know I hate to miss the race, but I just can't see driving all that way to watch an off road race on Saturday while I can race all weekend in KNoxville.

Yee haw.

I ran some "over the counter" Kinetix batteries in the main this weekend.

I took first place in the 1/12th mod A main and had 739 mah left in the batteries after the end.

I took 2nd in the 1/12th stock A main (needed more gearing) and had over 1000 mah left in the batteries after the end!!

..charged at 6amps. Had close to the same punch on the 32nd lap as they did on the first.

Thanks Ron.

Hey Big Dog, yeah it's Todd. Sorry to hear you're not coming, but I totally understand about it. I'd do the same thing if I was you. Guess I'll see you at the 'birds!! I hope we'll both be saying "Who made the A!" this time
