Hello everyone, we were trying so hard to finish this week a week earlier than planned, but the rain is coming in now and going to slow things down for about a week. I did say the 22nd that it would be done and it looks like that date is still planned in as long as the rain stays away. The facility is starting to look like a facility and track again. Things are getting cleaned up real nice. I will keep you informed on opening day and some someone will be taking pictures on Saturday. This project was way more involved than ever expected, especially because of my so called perfectionist. I just had to fix everything that was not good after 9 years of being open. We did bring in all NEW electrical and Craig Patterson is doing all the work for us.
You guys could have shot me when I was thinking about this project and you would be practicing by now, LOL

I think the most turns we have ever designed for a track layout at SpeedWorld was 11 turns with 10 foot lanes, we have a 15 foot wide sweeper and 10 to 12 foot lanes and the track has 18 turns as of now for the first layout, WOW!!!!!!!!!.

I hope you guys really enjoy the facility and feel that it was worth the extra 3 weeks wait to get on the track. Tracy and I can not wait to see all you racers again, at least I am sure that what she would have said. Tracy has not talk to me much since I stated this project, LOL.
Scotty Barnes, Kyle Scutz and Craig Patterson has work very long hours to help to have this done in time, especially Scotty Barns has dedicated is entire time off work at SpeedWorld 10 hours days 7 days a week to help finish this project.

Thank you racer for your understanding and you will not be disappointed.
Billy and Tracy

Hello Scotty B., not yet, you can not go home. I purchased a sleeping bag for you today to help your comfort. Remember this is for the racers and the Reedy Race.

late may the temperatures should be in the low to mid 90's. IIRC, the track was usually 110~120ish. old surface, sorex 36r's were the ticket. rp36's were pretty good too, but i preferred the sorex.

i don't think anyone's tried the hotter range jaco's, maybe JMO has, not sure.
