Do we bring our own generator, shade and extension cords?
Are we able to pit inside the pit area if we bring our own equipment?

UNBELIEVABLE, jump in any time you want and communicate with us Scotty.

Hello everyone, here is the deal, Scotty did not get all 200 entries for the race so I guess things got a little on the difficult side, communication probably could have been a lot better but it is what it is as for now. I have worked countless hours and other things on this race and it is not even my race that I am putting on, Scotty is using SpeedWorld facility for His/REEDY race. I have read some negative stuff on the site and that is your opinion and freedom of speech and I can deal with that. We all think differently and put things in different prospective. I have done all the worrying I can do for this race and now it is past that point since I have venting. Letís make the best of it and have fun!!!!!!!

You can bring your canopies and tables and pit inside the pit area as of now. I know a lot of you guys are feeling a little on the cramp side for pit spaces that you only get on the tables, but that is just the way it is, you get less space at large events than you are getting at SpeedWorld. I know you want more space, I know you do not want to pit outside the gate so you will have to make the decision on what you want to do. As of NOW you will be able to pit inside the gate but things can change. You will not be able to plug into the tables for power with extension cords unless you have a generator placed outside the gate to run your power. Scotty is getting tables and chairs and I will find out from Scotty what else he needs. He e-mailed me yesterday and I have to get back with him later today or tomorrow night when I get home.

Thank Billy

Here is some more hotel info if you are still in need of a room for the race.

The La Quinta is full, so we have arranged rooms at the Holiday Inn which is 1 block away for the La Quinta. Here is the info

Holiday Inn Sacramento I-80
5321 Date Ave
Sacramento CA 95841
Phone: 916.338.5800

1-800-338-2810. Please mention that you are with the Reedy Race group.

Reedy Race Rate is $84

ww.SacNorthEast.com

COREY: You are correct, 3 sets for quals and 1 set for when you make the A main. :-)

Pit spaces with chairs, electricity, tables, shade will all be provided, as Billy said, if you want to bring your own, that is your option.

Thanks
Scotty

I was going to bring my own table and shade, but after thinking about it I'll just pit in the air-conditioned hobby shop. Thanks BILLY!

Billy, thankyou for all your hardwork and effort. It is a dificult task to run a track, remodel, and help schedule things for this event. Some of us saw your place for the first time and thought your program is great. Wish you were our local track. We thank you and Speed World for everything.

Scotty has tried to get this race to us dispite him being out of the country all this time. I know he has experience dealing with this type of situation. This is a race that was not going to happen. Tamiya's facility was the place. Speed World is now the place. We have a race to enjoy and make the best with what we have. Thanks Scotty and Trackside crew for your efforts.

This is the first year that the Reedy Race is being held at Speed World. The rough edges will fall into place before it is all said and done. It will be great for next year's race there if Billy and Scotty don't decide to pull the plug before it even gets off the ground next year.

I think we will have some fun once we are all there. Looking forward to having a enjoyable week in Sacamento area.
