I was thinking the same thing but didn't feel like being the first to bring that up.

removing the ring really doesn't help that much...

on the same logic, would the novak heatsink rings be illegal as well? they're not an original part of the motor.

what about clip on heatsinks? some cars cant use them so why should they be allowed on some but not others?

maybe feigao based (SP, orion, trinity) motors shouldn't be allowed since they have vent holes and others don't.

Just go by the rules, you read Jamie said to keep the ring on, trying to fight it just causes more drama plus it doesnt even do that much

Well since none of the feigao based motors are legal thats not a problem..

No one is fighting what he posted it's just if Roar rules are to be followed they should be consistent from race to race. If one thing is allowed at an actual Roar event and other races state that Roar rules apply then it should be the same from race to race. Regular guys like us that ask a question get blasted for it but no one says anything to the factory guys when they ask the same question at the event. It doesn't matter to me.....I'll just wait for a vocal factory guy to ask some questions at the race and go from there.

That's right I remember that, he couldn't sit without one of those donut cushions for about a month ...I forgot what lame excuse he used to explain that off.
