Default Brushless run times

Hi Gang

I have been outa this for a while but used to run a F1 and a what they are calling a vintage RC10 . What would the approx run time be on a brushless setup and how much of a bearing would battery choice have on the ruun times?

I am running a 4tec right now with a 10 turn double on a cyclone speed control and 2400 battery sticks and am only getting about 2.5 min run time. Any suggestions without spending a wad on batteries of how to get a longer run time?

Thanks

I know this isisnt a brushless system now but why upgrade is another thing im looking at

your problems are----

1. TOOOOO tall on the pinion, it comes geared at 24 (pinion) /81 (spur) and this is for it's wimpy 20 turn motor

2. To much drivetrain drag, this is one thing on the car that will be hard to fix because the belts are absolutely way too stiff.

3. Your motor is worn out and needs rebuilt.

4. Your batteries aren't getting fully charged.

If you go out and get a brushless system you will only fix one of these problems......

This is possiable I have a peak charger coming this week

3. Your motor is worn out and needs rebuilt.

motor is new and has less than 5 runs on it was broken in witht eh water like directions state

2. To much drivetrain drag, this is one thing on the car that will be hard to fix because the belts are absolutely way too stiff.

I dont think this is it because i got longer run times with a 15 turn

What gearing would you suggest?

Thanks

Soak your belts in rubbing alcohol overnight, it will soften them up quite a bit. Used to have to do that with my XX4 Street Weapon because of how tight the drivetrain was.
