Default Narrow chassis, nearly all inline

Xpress Pro Mk1.

I knew they did 3x3 cells like Xray did with the first T1, but I didn't know Xpress did a chassis with the cells like the Durango/Serpent S500 buggy.

How about that with those new Trakpower 3200 saddle packs.....?

The main problem is the same as most of the cars from that era -- the layshaft is high up above the motor, raising the cg considerably. The only way to get the motor in the middle and maintain a low cg is to either have three belts, or very wide diffs/bulkheads like the jrx-s.

a small rotating shaft, 2 pulleys, and a spur gear really won't raise the cg that much... definitely not enough to offset the advantages of having the heavier items centralized.

the mk1 might be pretty bad ass if converted to the mike swauger edition suspension and the yokomo steering mod.

<--- ran xpress cars for years.
