Thanks for the replies. I checked out some of the ideas and I am pretty sure its a combo of things. Found out his car weighs about 1300 gms, mine 1510 and he is a smoother driver. My car is faster but his drives around mine on corners. The good thing is I am improving and he will have to add weight when he gets caught.
Thanks again

Dan, could you look at this and tell me if you feel this charger is sufficient for these batteries? I have a battery, and now I need to find a charger. This one seems to have the most bang for the buck - AC/DC (with adapter), built in balancer, up to 5A charging.

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6590

Also, when I received the battery, it says on the box to review the instructions before use, but there were no instructions with the battery. Is there a place online to download the instructions?

Thanks!

Greg

We also plan on having the instructions on the site soon.

Yesterday i ran it for the first time with a MM7700.My pack came with 12 AGW wire.Performance was impressive!I didn't expected too much punch .I have the impression that these packs are more than 3200mAh.I recharged it with my Robitronic Overloader at 1C.Charging stopped after 65 min and according my charger pack was full, has got 3200 mAh but when i checked the voltage was 4.10v/cell insted of something close to 4.2v/cell.I assume it could take some more mAh on charging so next time i'll try to charge it as a 3400 mAh pack.I'll run it again in a few hours and i'll post my comments again.
Later.

Second time i ran it.Excellent as the first time.My car was flying. After a 5 min run with the Mamba max,on recharge it took back 3000mAh.I don't know for how long it will have the same performance as so far i wasn't so lucky with other lipos.

The balance taps are commonly known as Align taps. Same as the Core and the SMC packs.
