Hey I have a Few Questions

1. Has anyone from the U.S. ever Ordered from RCMODEL.com? If so How much is shipping

2. On their site it has Pro 3 Spec. S.. Is that Just the regular Pro3 from the U.S.? If not whats the difference?.. Thanks

Don't get the Spec S, that's the low quality version It has the plastic fixed camber links and stuff. If anything, just get the regular Pro 3 kit here in the US, you can find them around pretty cheap. And then throw in a good top deck and the HPI spur gear adaptor.

Also, I think the rcmodel site has shipping costs, maybe not. But it shouldn't be too expensive. I've ordered Pro 3 parts from Control Centre in Hong Kong and shipping was only about $6.00.

you should make the servo guard a bit longer to protect a bit more of the servo.
I had to be funny there

The servo guard has been working well for us. We haven't had any problems with damaging the servo from an impact from the rear of the car. However, if we get enough feedback from it we wouldn probably increase the length.

but isnt it a side impact that you should be worried about damaging the servo

PRP designed the part so that only an impact from just infront of the RR tire and it would have to be pointed. the guard was made wide enough to block any other cars for diving in. also it was kept inmind that u might spin or slide into a board. but in touring cars, the chances you'll hit the servo in the centimeter that it doesnt guard is very very slim. The current guard will protect against a straight side impact. we havent expierenced any problems so far.

*PRP designed the part so that only an impact from just infront of the RR tire could do damage and it would have to be pinted or narrow to make a solide enough hit w/o getting the tires or the servo guard*

so your saying it can take a t-bone hit without hurting the servo???

how do you figure that if the guard doesnt go the full length
of the servo?

one part is almost all sedans have front bumpers. second, the guard still sticks out infront of the servo so a t-bone found hit the guard. unless its a wicked half bumper that wasent planned upon. sure it could be longer, but if wouldnt change much of anything but weight.
