ernestf: Man, I don't know how or why you managed to turn what I said, into something about what other car it looks like. All I was saying was that all the best cars HPI has made has been with double deck plate chassis and they shouldn't have went away from that. Now, please explain what the h*^% does that have to do with it being a "TC3+upper deck"? I don't care what it looks like, I think its a good looking car and I was just saying it will be nice if HPI makes a return to a plate chassis, thats it thats all. Dang!

I swear it seems sometimes that some of these people just sit back and wait for any new car to come out so they can say its just a copy of another car. In prototype form, there were people who said both the XXX-S and Mission looked like Yokomo copies. Oh, yeah, the final production versions of those two cars look a whole lot like a Yokomo.

I find it amazing that so many people say this is a copy of the TC3, but the TC3 wasn't a copy of the Tenth Tech sedan. Just one of those things that make you go........hmmmmmm

Please, get a life people and stop worrying about what car looks like what. Its fun to joke about, but some people just take it too seriously. Jezzzzz.

Back finally and it's been a while,

A Pro4 huh, thats kind of odd due that the Pro3 hasn't been totally refined. Whatever the case, is there any talk of this from HPI U.S. I take it the the Pro3 will eventually become the Sport sedan with a price drop. LOL!!! I'm going to shoot HPI a e-mail about a possible Pro4 and I will post any response.

ernestf: nothing you wrote made me feel bad. I don't even own a HPI, never have. I just don't get why so many people care what car looks like what. As long as someone is driving it and having fun, who cares.

Wink

Actually as Pro3racing had posted it's a Kai. I doubt it's a TC3 conversion either cos there are probably only 2 TC3 parts on that car- the steering rig and the shaft - even the steering rig looks too cleanly molded to be an actual AE peice.
Shocks- Yokomo one offs
Axles- Pro2
Suspension Pro3
Chassis/ rest of car- Kai

im about to get a pro3 from a trade. my questions are:
1. are the suspension parts strong enough to take a few crashes? ive read somewhere about boiling the arms to make them flex a bit in collisions. is this necessary?
2. what gears (pitch) do you guys use? 64p or 48p? is there an advantage to either?
thanks for any info i might get the pro3 tomorrow and i cant wait to run it
