I got them yesterday. Got some springs to. What pistons are in that car?? I also grabbed the HB towers.

HB towers?
Good luck.... alot of people are having alot of problems getting them to work at the proper ride height. I highly recommend the HPI graphite towers, has same mounting locations as stock. plus additional locations as well. Available at Tower Hobbies.

In which direction is the problem. Is the car to high or is it to low??

It raises the ride hight about 3-5mm higher than stock. Rally style. Some possible solutions are:
shorter shock shafts, adding internal spacers or shorter springs.
I had a set... and quickly got rid of it the next day. too much head aches trying to fix it.

or you could just take the threaded spring collar off and use spacers to adjust pre-load/ride height...

Cool. Thanks for the info fellas. Guess I am living and learning with this thing. I know the TC3 and XXX-S, but no HPI....

or you can get the Penguin shock towers and you have the option of having more mounting holes as well as roll center adjustments.

Yes the Penguin towers are an option... but I think the HPI graphite towers are nicer looking. plus it has better mounting hardware. But that just my opinion since I have the HPI one and they look great with the Kai chassis.

I've got a 2.30 tire on and can go as low as 3mm ride height with the HB towers, but I used TC3 springs because I do not have any HPI at the moment. They were the same diameter and length. Any of you guys ever tried them???

Hi, actually I forgot to mention the weight of my car before, It has all the aluminum hop ups available like front n rear alum bulkheads, frnt n rear alum upper suppoert, alum c block steering arms, knuckles and jet motor mounts, rear uprights and suspension holder.

I removed some aluminum stuff also to save weight.

FYI sorry for the lack of details, was just sexcited about the new chassis!!!! hehehehehehehe
