Hey guys. Is everyone using 64 pitch in their Pro 3's? Im using 48 pitch, but I can't seem to find a good gear ratio with my Monster Stock Pro motor. Any suggestions?

how good is the hpi carbon chassis? not the c/f one but the plain carbon one? is it worth the money as my mate just busted by narrow chassis and i dont have enough cash to buy another narrow one at the moment

Wow! Will the Pro 3 never die!

Anyway - do you mean the moulded plastic graphite chassis (A381 I think the part is). It'll do a job, probably a similar strength to the narrow bottom deck, more protection for the internals too.

DOMOisCOOL;

Believe it or not, Batteries have alot to do with too.
In my Pro-3 and a MS, I used to run a 7.8 final (87/25) on just about every size track with good success. When I got some better packs, I was able to gear up a little for more speed to 7.5-7.6 (85/25 or 87/26).

This past weekend I finished 4th overall out of 38 entries in Stock Sedan. I was the only belt driven Car to finish that high.

Pops...

You are da bomb with that Pro 3!!! Sorry for hitting you in the A-Main... you know it ain't intentional (after all, the leader has the right of way... , just kidding...)... but really, after that, I just laid back and relax and followed your lines (pretty tight if I may add)... I figured you were going fast anyway so no more attempts to put you a lap down... Congrats again on the A-Main finish with a Pro 3 vs hoards and hoards of shaft driven cars!!! You think my Pro 3 will still be competitive in Pro Stock??? I love my car...

Yeah using 64 pitch anywhere from 32 thru 37 tooth pinion depends, local track is tight and kinda small.

Default This past weekend

eeyan;

Wolfe had so much more Motor in the main and I was doing everything I could to hold him off.
You tapped me a few laps after he finally got by me, so it really was no biggie. Besides it felt really great just being the the same main as you guys and you were WAY ahead of everyone else..

As soon as the parts support is there, I will be buying a Pro-4 and using it for my Stock class Car. The Pro-3 will be my 19 spec class Car. With 19T power, the belt drive doesn't seem to be such a hinderance.

See you soon,
Steven
