Novak doesn't make anything lower than a 3.5 and my 4.5 is still pulling at the end of the straight now. The 3.5 will be fine

Default SpeedWorld Raceway 2008 Improvement Project

The track expansion and resufacing project got underway today at SpeedWorld Raceway & Hobbies in Roseville, CA.

I am happy to say that it turned out perfect! Not a ripple or bump to seen - it is going to be off the hook!

more pics of the work cab be found at http://rivercityrc.org/swr/2008/phase1/

My my, how your altered view of reality shines through!! ....the reason you were called the rocket man was because of that lame-a$$ song you always played on your mp3 player: http://www.arroyoc.com/rcracing/rocket3.wav

Hello,

I am thinking about coming to visit for the SWR cup and am interested in what everybody is running for tires/inserts? 36R's? With what insert? Which wheel?

You should def come down! I loved the SWR cup last year!

Yeah, sorex 36's with a firm insert, and it depends on the rims, I know some guys use the yokomo stiff ones, and others dont like those because there more fragile...

I just use normal yokomo rims

IDK how many people are still going to run RP's because there hard to find, so I cant comment there..

36's would definitely be a good starting point. JL has a good point that the surface will be a bit different.

as long as it's un-sealed asphalt it will probably be close.

Im sure it will be different with out years of traction crap sunk in.... But heat is heat you know?

When its 100 deg out, I dont think you'd run anything under 36's

I suppose there is some poor question timing on my part, but what was the "old" ticket for tires and inserts.

Thanks
