Hello, all. New here (old time pan car guy from the 1990's)
 

I recently decided to get back into on-road RC, (after a not-so-successful airplane stint of 12 years...) My son Christopher is 6 (soon to be 7) and has shown a great interest in racing (MarioKart, Cub Scouts Pinewood derby, etc) and wanted to know where my old "dale earnhardt car" went... I explained thqt I sold it on eBay, (along with some other stuff I kept for years....) it was Lynx II Elite, (LOVED that chassis!!) and I also sold my Bolinks (beaters) at the same time. I wanted to get a new pan car, (and wanted an Associated 10L of some sort... was coonfused that they only sold an OVAL version and TOURING cars...I saw that there was very little in the 2WD pan car market, and luckily scored on eBay 4 different10L chassis (one SS, and one L2 and two 10L fiberglass, two ready to run, and two just assembled) complete with two controllers, (magnum Futaba and a magnum Jr.) perfect for me an my son. SO... I just wanted to say hello, and here is hoping that the speed and simplicity of the pan-car keeps on -keeping on, and letting you know I am here, (an old timer!!!) I am in NY state, (Hudson valley) and I'm looking for a place to race, (on road or banked carpet stuff preferably,being a NASCAR fan). Thanks and sorry for the long intro...
