Default Zapped and UnZapped Battery Cells

What is the Difference in zapped and unzapped cells i am considering buying a case of batteries in the near future.

Its a process used to slightly increase the voltage of the cells, tbh you'd have to be a very good racer to see the difference (imho) and is probably more useful to have in stock than mod.

If the price difference isnt too much and you race stock, go for it but dont expect to see a big difference, moreso if you are soldering up loose cells (unmatched).

So you are saying go for the zapped or unzaped cells. I will be racing Stock and 13.5 brushless

A zapped cell has better voltage compared to an unzapped one. There is a noticeable difference on the track between the two.

When you buy a cell from a matcher that cell has been zapped already.

If you are running stock motors, you really want to get zapped cells to increase the voltage availible to that motor. It's not so important with running mod, as modern cells have enough capacity to make run time with no issues, even if you drop down a wind to get more speed in your car. So, get yourself the zapped cells and you should have no worries!
