Default Multiplex 5014 or Triton Jr.?

I'm in the market for a lipo charger and was hoping someone with the Multiplex or Triton Jr. could chime in? Both of these chargers look to have almost identical specs and are both the same price. Does one have any advantage over the other?

The Triton JR is a solid unit, I've used one and was very happy with it.

Well ok... both chargers are actually really cool. We sell them both at my work, but we sell waaaayyyyy more multiplex chargers. I think mainly because it can do lead acid cells (think starter boxes for nitro cars), and I like the menu's a little better. The quality of charge seems slightly better from what we were able to tell as well. I have 2 of them for all my heli stuff

I used a Triton Jr. and really liked it. Was very easy to use and the backlight was a nice addition.

I used it to charge 2 and 3 cell lipo packs from 1320mah to 4270mah and worked great.

And worked good for my IB3600 nimh packs and my AA rechargeables for my radio.

Have you looked at the Hyperion EOS 0606i? Has a 1 amp higher charge rate, is ac/dc and has a built in LiPo balancer.

A little more money but the added ac/dc and balancer make up for that.

I use an ICE and a Triton Jr. I got the Jr as a second charger to charge Lipos and Nimhs. That way I can free up my ICE when I need to break in a motor or just when I need to be charging two things at once. Very simple and solid unit.

That Hyperion looks pretty good, but since I already have a 26A power supply I might as well use it. As to what Korey said, I also see probably five of the Multiplex units to every one Triton Jr. Another question I have though, it seems everyone with the Multiplex at my local track has a big fan ziptied to it, do they get that hot?

Neither, go with the new Thunder Power TP610C Charger. It's the same size as the Multiplex, does more cells, and has a built-in lipo balancer to boot!

I have a small review on the electronics section (610C). Yes, it does come with a backlight. It might be out of the range you want to spend though if those chargers prices are the limit.
