Default 12 scale brushless gearing?

What gearing is a good starting point for a 10.5 brushless CRC Gen-x? We are turning about 9 to10 second laps with 13.5 brushless. Our track is about 80 by 42 feet.
Thank you
Dave

Start out at a 56mm roll out. I think I ended up closer to 60mm at my 100x48 carpet track.

Your gearing will depend some on what speedo you're running and how your motor/car work on the track. I normally start a little low and go up from there until the laptimes fall off or the motor gets too hot.

56mm is probably where I would start with a Novak speedo. Just go up and down from there to find what's fastest.
