Unhappy LRP Brushless 4.5 Problem

I just put in my LRP Brushless 4.5 with Sphere ESC. After running 5 min on my IB4600 (6 cells), I notice that the motor does not run every now and then and appears to be in a freeze position even when I pull the trigger. The motor seems kind of stuck with no response.

However if I move the spur or the car a bit, the motor run again.

Is there something that I am doing wrong? I didn't have this problem with the 3.5 motor with same ESC.

Help...

I have it set for NIMH. I have been running the 3.5 motor with no problems. I just changed to 4.5 motor with same ESC setup and batteries etc, and I got this problem.

Could this be a faulty motor?

my bad typo its fix, well since is a lrp motor i would throw it in the garbage thats what i did with my lrp 4.5 and 13.5 reason for that was i had both rotors shattered inside the motors!! with barely any runs on them.

Ive heard of this and some have said that sometimes the oil/grease from the bearing goes on the sensor pickup so it cant read the starting point.Give it a clean with a electric cleaner or CO2.
Also heard that some motors have a bad solder joint on the back board so that might be a option too.

You mean the brushless rotors are interchangeable? I thought each turn has a specific rotor....

Try a different sensor wire. Beyond that, if it doesn't work and the 3.5 still works, send the motor back.

On the subject of lrp motors and rotors does anyone know all of the rotors that fit the lrp motors? I have 2 x-11's which both have the 14mm rotors but they don't seem to go as hard as the latest orion motors which have the 12mm rotors. Does anyone know what options are avalible?
