there are so many .. speed passion just won the worlds but .. not a 17.5.
some motors have more k/v ,,, some have more torque. choose one for your app. over the past , rpm seems to have the upper hand. especially in "stock". I am not partial to any brand, I have novak and hacker motors.. thay all rock! think i might just have to try a speed passion. tell you the truth , its all about the gearing. Start conservitave and work your way up. and dont hold back on anything you might find.

That all depends on the diameter of the front wheels and the ride height you want to drive... On my local track I set the ride height to 3 - 3,5mm. Usually I make a couple of sets of the same diameter so on one day I don't have to change the ride height shims but the next race or a different track will mean you will have to adjust the front and rear ride height...

http://

you can try here:
http://www.lefthander-rc.com/catalog...products_id=52

They are the standard pivot balls so the CRC plastic balls would work too, also try IRS...their alloy balls will work.

Start at about 70 and work from there depending on your motor and track.

Joost.
It just seemed to be alot of shims to get it down with the 180 tires. I'll just cut them down some to get it lower. I was afraid the screw was gonna be to short if I keep adding shims..lol Thanks..

Juho was running his car pretty stock from what he said, 30wt centre oil, with a blue spring, 20wt side oil with standard springs. Everything else was stock setup.
Don't know much about Naoto's car but from what I could see he was running it again pretty stock with standard centre spring and blue side springs.
All AE cars were link cars.

Pretty sure the 12r5 and 10r5 both use the 1/8 carbide balls .
.125 inches

The "magic" could come from tyres and bodyshell. As discussed earlier, both seems to use Yokomo rims with some Yokomo tyres. Naoto used a Black Art R8C bodyshell, Juho a Protofrom Speed12.
Naoto also use some shims to move inward the upper wishbones making them longer.
