Just out of curiosity has anyone tried the new SpeedZone split-pack with the 12R t-bar conversion?

Have you got a ball removal/install tool? If so, pop them out and in a couple of times.

Slide a 1/8" kingpin into the ball and use a pair of pliers to "squish" the lower arm around the ball and kingpin. Do it from several sides. Also see if there is some material in between the arm and the ball. Sometimes snapping them in without a pivot ball snapper inner shears off just enough plastic to give the result you mentioned.

AMBit / MyLaps transponder. The old and the new version fit... This is by far the most used transponder in the world and therefore many companies use these mounting holes...

Try these!

This is what I've been using. Works great.

One trick I do is to store the roll of tape in a zip loc bag too keep it clean.

? Why did you want braces if you don't own a 12R?

Ah, I went and paid $16 for a roll at the LHS before I saw those other replies.

Oh well, it's a big roll and should last a long time. When I need more I'll grab some from the hardware store.
