lemme measure my hub, but it's a wider right hub (i think just 1/8 wider which is 5mm or so, and shimmed the right 1/8).. the front will just be shimmed also.. the car is a genuine mutt of parts i had in the box, but real pretty with all the different colors...

if you use the 1/8" front axles like most of the oval guys use...they are long and have shims so you can widen the front out, or narrow it up by using the shims on the inside or outside of the wheels.

1/8" rear axle spacers on each side of the axle will get you the width you need in most cases...

I have a body ?

I was at my LHS on CHristmas eve looking for a COrvette C6 for my Pantoura and I didnt find the new Protofrom C6 but I did find the HOI C6...what kind of difference is there between the two and which one would you guys advise would be the better investment for my car? (whichever one I get Im gonna do a FIA GT Phoenix Carsport paint scheme on it)

i'm not positive, but i believe that the new c6 was "optimized" for pan cars meaning it probably has a bit more splitter, wheel arch clearance, and maybe a better or bigger rear wing.. wheelbase may be slightly different also..

I ran one before the New C6 came out. Bigest issue was tire clearance as the fenders are more rounded. Then Tally is correct in the "lack of splitter" Wheel base did work on both long and short with the I-Fource. Also since the front width is adjuastable, not on issue either.

Regardless, you have to cut away so much of the bottom edges of the body to get to the legal roof height of 104mm that you totally elminate the spliter.

Get the Protoform Sophia.

Do a Google search for "Alfa Romeo Lancia Rally" and click on images. There are two classic paint schemes there. The white/blue/light blue/red of Martini Racing and the green/white/red of Alitalia.

The Martini scheme is the most famous.

Man those are AWESOME! I may see about getting that Lancia on a Sophia (itd go great with my Phoenix Carsport Corvette)

They are pre-trued to a too large size. For asphalt we true Jaco's to 2.2" and BSR/CRC tires to 2.3". For carpet go .1" smaller. Unlike 1/12th we tend to run the fronts and rears the same size.
