Some of the Merc, Opel/Vauxhall, Audi cars are up to you if you want to include them, but if you include the M3, and especially the M5 I see no reason not to include those and just about every touring body out there. I may have missed some but I think that's fairly complete.

Ike, I believe they are trying to specifically stay away from the touring cars but everything else is cool.

I know, I guess that was my long winded way of saying that the M5 shouldn't be allowed The M3 is a bit questionable as well but should be fine... Also, for sticlers some of the above cars would be Supercars and not GT cars, but when they compete in a GT series it's hard to argue against. If you want to limit it to just cars that are considered true GT cars you wouldn't have much to choose from.

I don't think CRC has hit the street yet. At least I haven't seen mine and it was ordered in early Feb.

I'll make sure Jimmy also gets a look at some of those (since this is his brainchild). I know that there needs to be a good variety of options available for the class. I have a list of 7-14 bodies I would definitely put on the short list for a class like this but I will say that a number of these will definitely be considered. At the very least it opens up even more options for testing. Im pretty sure the M5 wont be allowed because I believe it was mentioned earlier that it looked too much like a TC. I definitely see a good possibility for the MR-S, Supra, 350Z, Silvia, Viper GTS, Lamborghini (although I have two other Lambos on my short list), Corvette C5 (I have the C6 on my short list), Saleen S7R, Pagani Zonda, TVR Sagaris (I have the Tuscan Speed Six on my short list) and a few others.

Ok Ive looked over a lot of the bodies and for me this would be my short list (again this isnt a final list but bodies I think would work best for the class:

BMW
Z3
Z4

Chevrolet
Corvette C5R
Corvette C6R

Dodge
Viper GTS-R

Ford
GT-40
Mustang GT-R

Honda
NSX

Lamborghini
Gallardo
Murcielago

Mazda
RX-7
RX-8

Nissan
350Z
Silvia

Pagani
Zonda

Porsche
911 GT3

Saleen
S7R

Toyota
MR-S
Supra

Those would be the bodies Id probably see as most likely being allowed if a set of rules was made about what bodies would be legal and what not. This probably will change as I start seeing more data from folks testing and have a chance to chit chat with JimmyMac

The DB10R is on www.bmiracing.com front page with a link to the Redrc.com press release.

We are really close to turning it loose guys...we just need a few final parts to come in.

What about the TVR Tuscan?

Quality body and fits the class...actually looks like the viper at first glance

The Skyline GT-R's should almost certainly be included in that list. Especially when you consider that there are even cars you can buy that have decal sets modeled after the actual JGTC/Super GT cars. Also, if you're going to include most of the supercars might as well include all of them, such as the TVR's, Ferraris, and the CLK GTR and Porsche GT1.

I actually did a little looking up before I came up with my personal short list. I want to have the list be made up of cars tha tran GT in some form or another and of the cars you gave links to, teh TVR Sagaris I didnt find anywhere (the closest to it was the TVR Cerbera Speed 12), the Skyline's Im sure will be included (those are very well known cars). Now the Ferrari Enzo is a street going car and if we are going to use race cars then that one would not be on the list. Now I will say this, since the GT10 class is not primarily my idea, but JimmyMac's, he would be the one with the last word on what bodies are put on the final list and what ones are not. It will probably be a pretty extensive list even without many of the supercars (Pagani actually had a couple Zondas in the FIA GT championship a couple years ago, which is why that one was put on my list)

The Sagaris runs in the Dutch Supercar Challenge and Britcar and the T400R (which is essentially a Speed 6) competed in FIA GT2 class. The Sagari was based on the T350 and was built with GT endurance racing in mind, it just hasn't been campaigned much probably mainly because of all the turmoil surrounding the company.

When I said Ferrari I was mainly refering to the F430, which I forgot on my list, that's widely raced in GT racing. If you want to get technical the Maserati MC12 is a reskinned Enzo and is run in a couple series including FIA GT. Also, the CLK-GTR, R390, and Porsche GT1 were created solely for homologation into GT racing. The Zonda did compete (if you want to call it that) in FIA GT. I believe it entered two races and qualified last in each and didn't finish more than 10 laps in either race. I guess you can see why I don't get including the Zonda but not some other cars that had very successful race careers in a GT series.

I know you're still doing research and I'm not trying to be a pest, just trying to help.

No worries at all. The F430 is not available as a cosumer body to my knowledge (although Id love to see it if somebody would take up the challenge).

Like I said, the list I posted is by no means a final list. The final list will probably have a lot more bodies on it. I see about 25-30 on the market bodies from combining my original list with the cars you posted. and the final list will probably be about that long

Yeah, the body list is very hard to do. Much thanks for some of the help and research yall are putting into this!

I have an idea I have been tossing around and I want some of your input. I know that the new cars aren't really out yet. But I would like to designate the 10.5 motor as the motor for this class. 4cell 10.5 for indoors. And lipo 7.4 and 10.5 for outdoors. What do you think? I know I can't wait to test it out in a few weeks here. Just some ideas...

Tamiya makes an F430 and a 360, but after doing a search it appears that they're only 190mm.

The car someone needs to make, and soon, is this one A DB9 of some type would be a good one as well.
