I agree with those that worry about too many classes. But it does seem like a really good idea to have two classes of pro10's. the slower of which would have the GT style bodies and would appeal to those who care most about realistically cool looking cars that are somewhat easier to manage and hopefully less costly to campaign. The faster of which would be for those who care only about speed. Personally, I absolutely love the 10.5 motors since they are fast as hell and yet they don't get smokin hot and are not prone to shutting down the electronics like the lower wind motors do. If I were king, we'd run 10.5s with the LMP bodies and settle on either the 13.5 or the 17.5's for the slower class with the GTP bodies. Heck, if car count was an issue, I could even go for running them all together and scoring them separately..........just as they do with the real sportscars.

well lets just stick to growing what we have and then we can worry about adding things like an LMP class and what not. I like what is happening with World GT and we dont need to keep adding things yet

I've signed up for the World GT class at IIC and have no clue on any of the bodies. Here is the list of legal bodies:

1) Protoform Chevy Corvette C6 #1499
2) Protoform AR8C #1502
3) Protoform MGTS #1503
4) HPI Toyota Supra GT #7486
5) HPI Dodge Viper GTS-R #7473
6) HPI Mazda RX8 #7488
7) HPI Saleen Mustang #7428
8) HPI Nissan R34 GT-R #7427

Which of these is the best handling body? I understand that #2 and #3 aren't available yet?

I am with you on this. For a moment it looked like nothing was happening here in Los Angeles and now there is a hanful of guys that will be running GT at Bending Corners, what a relief. After running for the last 3 weeks with 1/8 nitro It will be nice to be among the same type of car.

Though if this class does well and enough peeps get on board it would be cool to get a pro10 classs started. Well fingers crossed that World GT class does well in Vegas.

Think the better question is which of the bodies can you even get?
From what I have found the PF corvette is the only one available.
Even at that I still don't actually have one here to paint yet.

just a couple comments on the bodies from racing them in a 4wd sedan GT class:

1) Protoform Chevy Corvette C6 #1499 Good body, steers, this was the old sedan style though. This would be the 1st choice
2) Protoform AR8C #1502
3) Protoform MGTS #1503
4) HPI Toyota Supra GT #7486
5) HPI Dodge Viper GTS-R #7473
6) HPI Mazda RX8 #7488 The RX7 is actually really good, due to the sweet splitter. Not sure why they went with the RX8, looks similar, but maybe a bit too tall
7) HPI Saleen Mustang #7428 Pushes
8) HPI Nissan R34 GT-R #7427

Which of these is the best handling body? I understand that #2 and #3 aren't available yet?

The HPi stuff should be easy to get.

I have ordered and recieved the HPI Supra (along with some other HPI bodies that aren't on this list) so at least that one is available. I have seen the new version of the Corvette (the one on this list) at the local track lately so there must be at least some out there.

The #2 body, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and the #3 Maserati GTS have not been released yet to the best of my knowledge. I spoke with Dale at the Reedy and he promised me one of the first Alfas (because I am a huge Alfa geek) but that doesn't mean they will be ready in time for the IIC. I sure hope so!
