JimmyMac,

If you want a good website for cross referencing bodies check out www.racingsportscars.com That site has pictures of all sorts of cars from Group C, GT, GTS, GT1 and a whole assortment of other series

I can again understand the desire for LiPo being a part of this. Not everyone has it so if nothing else there needs to be an option available for people to run the NiMH batteries. Im sure as LiPo continues to develop, it will become an inexpensive enough option that more people will be able to make it happen and the rules will Im sure reflect that. At this point, since this is largely a class in development, that we need to be careful to be as inclusive as possibe and yet still have a spec enough aspect to make this class a good option for the widest potential audience.

Alright. Done with 12 hours shifts at work. Now I can start some research.

When I get a car next month, I'll test it out with lipo and 4cell. Maybe I can find a speed comparable between the two. I think power source will be the last on the list of things to set rules for. But I will try 4cell 10.5 and lipo 17.5, and 13.5.

Bodies, so far I think your list looks good. I'm gonna dig around and see if there are others out there.

Later in the week, I'll review over some rules from Roar. And even some BRL rules. I know that is oval. But I just want to check out some weight specs and things like that since they run 4cell.

Well let me go surf around.

Nice, but I would consider those more Touring car based. I'm more looking for sports cars (non sedan).

Good idea man...I have added the M3 and M5 to the list. If anybody has any other bodies that have not been listed based on cars that have run in GT series. I can pull up the links that I put in the Pro10 discussion to help

Good research. I just got in my Roar renewal and rule book. Gonna look over some rules and jot down a few to get a general idea of things. Maybe I'll make a rule chart in excel and post it up. It'll have blanks on certain area's of unknown specs. Especially body/wing specs.

Point noted. There are a number of HPI bodies that I did not list that are based on cars that ran in GT series but do not run anymore to my recollection (and then there are bodies like the Ford GT that have been rumored to be coming to series but not coming to fruition)

I tell ya, sometimes it's hard to get anywhere on rctech!! Home from work. Heading to Debbies to race in the morning. I just got in my Protoform C6-R body. Nice! Now I just need a car to mount it on. I'll get to working on the rules sometime tomorrow night when I get home.

Good luck at Debbie's tomorrow. Give my regards to the 757 Holeshot boys there. I may be home for spring break so I should be able to run some more practice laps. Anyway, email me when youve got something.

Where did you get the body? I don't see it on the protoform site.
