is it illegal to attach a small piece of lead tape or something to simulate bumps to hold the cells into a car/buggy better?

what would be suggested?

I Shoe Goo the weights from Nexus to the bottom of my packs, and it does a very good job of locking them into the slots.

any links to these? the saddle pack im getting should be heavy enough with only minor setup changes, so anything around the 2oz range should work perfect with the "regular" setup.

heck maifield even ran his b44 with the same setup without any weight added with what was prob the reedy saddle (Weight: 282g - about 4 oz lighter then a nimh 6-cell pack)

from the jconcepts clash sheet "Lipo batteries allowed – hard shell cases recommended" so yes he could have since roar rules where just "observed"

Did you ever find a cable that would go straight into the Hyperion from the SMC?
Or is this the only option to connect the SMC's to the Hyperion? I will be using the 3200 & 5000 lipos. Thanks.

i remebered i had a lipo weight played from johnny (OCD) its like the perfect width to fill the b44 cutouts for the cells (with the tray removed) just gotta get it cut into 6 pieces that are the right length, and the height of 2.5mm is perfect; since the B44 is built on a 2.5mm woven carbon fiber main chassis.

just gotta talk to a buddy and make sure he has the equipment to make a straight cut in 304 steel

Here is a picture of the colored top wire case. The red that was choosen is a bit dull and when we have a new run of case done we will go with a brighter red that will seperate itself better from the black. As usual I'm sure some will like the colors and others will not.

Ehhh, I wouldn't worry about it, the cars using it will be going so fast no one'll be able to see it clearly anyway....

Nothing yet; but, Hyperion also needs to provide longer leads so we can get the pack(s) correctly into a Lipo Bag while charging.

will there be an option for connectors built in the saddle packs(like some of the other lipo packs) or will there just be leads coming out of the cases?

If its leads only, are they user replaceable?
