Does anyone have a pic of the 4000 hardcase mounted in a 2wd buggy?

Thanks.

Should get the prototype in a week or so then if there is no major changes needed the casing will go into production. They will probably be available by the end of May.

Our Lipos are high performance Lipos with high average voltage and low IR so the power will be better.

Hey Danny, I installed a SMC 4000 lipo in my Team Magic E4FS-C1 and will be racing at Pike River, Quebec this summer.

Just want to say that it fits just perfect and with the TM having the lipo in the middle of the chassis it is well protected.

Thanks Danny. I just compared my T4, RB5 and an old xxx chassis. It looks like the battery tunnel walls are shorter on the kyosho car, so I wouldnt have to grind nearly as much. Thanks for the info.

I am currently setup with the trinity 4mm bullet connectors, cause I thought that was how all lipos were... I should have researched first. Anyways, what plugs are yall liking the best for reliability of connection and use: The tried and true deans? power pole?

Thanks in advance.

Deans and 6mm bullets are my favorite.

Make that two!

The 6mm gold bullets actually have less resistance then equal length 12G wire for those that care to compare. So I dont buy the whole loss of voltage / resistance issue with bullets...go 6mm if thats a concern.

For those with JRXS Type R's. I just ran the 4000 and 5000 this weekend at the Region 5 champs and while I have no complaints on the batteries at all, I do have to retract an earlier post and say that they do not fit in the car. While you can get them in and run the car, the belt will cut through the positive lead insulation and I've found no workaround for it. I noticed this with both my 4000 and 5000. While it only cuts the positive, it cuts a large section right down to the wire. If anyone else has come up with a workaround let me know because I do like the batteries.

The 4000 pack runs great. Ran it this past weekend up in Maryland. No drop in performance in 13.5 class through the 5 minute run.

Danny, where do you clip the voltage leads when charging with the GFX. I think you posted a pic awhile back. But I think it was deleted during the server move while back. **Nevermind, the pic is back online..**
Where do you clip the voltage leads from the gfx when charging????
