We've had excellent luck with Stormer Hobbies, they appear to have them in stock. Here is a direct link to the pack, great pics.

the sticker on the pack in the picture says "7.2 volts". I thought that all lipo packs were 7.4 volts. Am I missing something here?

My friend in China who hooked us up with the printer for the stickers made a typo when doing the new stickers. Guess he was thinking of sub-c packs. This will be resolved on our next order.

The plugs exiting the side would do a good job of preventing the pack from interfering with my top deck. I may end up trying these sooner than I thought. I wonder if they'll be legal at IIC?

We have decided to tool up and do a saddle pack Lipo. The first sample cells are done and now the casing needs to be done. Our saddle pack will be a 5200/28C. We hope to have them available by the middle of May.

To Danny; Ran the pack (4000) last week in my tc/13.5. The pack was strong and I believed outperformed the orion 3200. I took my rollout down from 43.5mm to 42mm to compensate for voltage and IR, and was a tenth of a second faster on average, my fast lap gained only a tenth but I had about 8 laps faster than my previous fast lap with the 3200. However I think I can go up on the gearing, so next time out I will try a 43mm rollout. For those who are interested, I race on a 60' x 40' carpet track with this particular layout being pretty fast. My best lap time and so far the best lap on the track with tc was 7.327.

On a side note; These batteries, in my opinion, require a balance charge quite often. Even brand new right out the box, they were .4v off from each other, but they seem to be holding that, I just put them on a balance charger for conditioning at home. Other than that, all seems well and I can't wait for some saddle packs for my b44.

Maybe .04 not bad , but .4 is ways too far off... mostly time if the bal is .4 off from each other it could may be a bad cell....

Danny / SMC

What is the size of the 4000 and 5000 packs

I'm Looking for something to fit a PHI 21mm between top deck and Chassis

Your 5000 soft pack just fits in.

Thanks
