graphite and aluminum
I have a xxx-s and was wondering if the graphite parts really make a diference? Also are aluminum parts any good for on road electric cars? I've heard that they're heavy.

If your car is under the ROAR legal limit as far as weight goes (53g I believe), then adding aluminum parts to get the weight up is a fairly good idea. Aside from that, I would stay away from aluminum parts and try and get graphite if possible.

using graphite suspension components may improve your car's handling in high traction surfaces. using aluminum parts such as battery holders and motor clamps helps a bit because they act as heatsinks.
