Default How many cycles before equalizing down to 0.7v??

I was wondering how often you "deap" discharge/equalize (lower than 0.8v, max at 0.5v) so that the battery takes a full charge again?

I have Ener-G promatch cells and they stop at about 4400mah after 5 or 6 cycles in the car

I usually equalize them down to 0.9v

thanks!

Good question.
I have seen that most battery matchers recommend taking batts down to .9v as a max but yet there is a lot of equipment like battery trays, dischargers etc.. that have settings that go down to .5v.

Hopefully we can get some educated responses to the question made.

I would just keep equalizing the batts at 0.9v. If you don't think you are getting a full charge or the batts are peaking early. You might want to lower you charge amp settings.

I've had my ep4200 for over 35 cycles now and it still charges consistently at 4950MAH by simply charging at 6.0 amps and 20mv cuttoff. I use a 20amp discharger by integy and equalize the batts to .9 using a rayspeed equalizer...

I think the O/Poster just wanted to make sure his method will keep his batts charging at full capacity.....

when your battery often peaked at 4400mah, i think is sucks batteries or sucks charger.

what charger ? what is your power supply unit ?

sucks battery might happen even when they are still brand new..... maybe some juice leaked out because of impact, high temp, one bad cell, etc.
