The original brace was snug on my Trackpower 4900 but fit (except plug locations). The .060 offset should bearly clear. Possible variance in chassis holes from strap can effect fit...wouldn't take much since things are tight for clearance. Plus variations in packs will have some effect.

Verndog, you are right on. Any variance in tolerance of the pack, plate or plug seems like it can cause problems b/c it is such a tight fit everywhere. I will probably just ditch the plate and go straight to the PPD. Bummer b/c the plate isnt cheap.

Got my brace on Friday, installed it and am loving it. Thanks a ton.

I am just looking for a good way to make up for the lghter weight of the Lipo. I have some tungsten weights that are pretty small and fit okay, but I am looking for something that looks a little bit nicer.

I couldn't be happier with the lipo brace though!

I've got several options here. If you have 1.5mm clearance, start with the base plate...fits right under the Diggity brace like the pics above.

Hey Kev: Sorry for the delay, but your offset brace will ship out tomorrow or Tuesday!! Im thinking I need to make a TrakPower specific brace as a couple guys are not able to fit them.. its only like a mill or mill and a half off... Ive also offset the brace now .080 which has helped the plugs clear better and it still fits over the PPD well!!

Oh- Translation - He likes it, works out the bomb!

Sweet and thanks!! Let me know how that XLR8 works out for you in Trans Am series, you might want to convert it back to the 4-2 chassis!

Verndog, Thanks... I am running the Orion 4800 so I just ordered the Associated TC5 base weight. That looks much cleaner than stacking a bunch of weight on each side of the battery. Hopefully it will be here before Friday (race day). I just hope this magical piece of stainless can make up for my lack of driving skills

So I decided to take a dremel to my brace. Looks like crap but it fits now and seems like it will work really well (if it doesnt break from removing so much). I think if you come out with a TrakPower specific it will work well. I actually shimmed mine a little taller then the PPD. It holds the pack in better since it is higher.
