Whatever it is that does or does not make this class go, the only thing I'd like to recommend is to run a body that people in a crowd can recognize and get behind. There are so many more crossover and promotional ideas if we use stuff
that people can get behind.

Imagine walking into a Corvette club meeting, or into a dealer and saying we are holding the Corvette mini-nationals here in town. Is there a way you can help us promote it, or contribute to the events success?

I think the masses are ready to race cars that look like cars they are familiar with. I don't own anything full size that looks like a 1/12th scale car.

I agree 100%. I want to get i think the RX-8, the 911 turbo, and maybe a skyline. I will go over sheet of bodies and place an order with you. I wont put TC or wedge bodies on the car. I will always have a soft spot for the vette and i need to get a new one of them also to match my car but thats going to be put aside for show.

Make sure you post how the RX8 handles when you get it, I am a rotary nut and want either an RX7 second gen or RX8 body to run.

Will do. The RX-7 wasnt bad it was just a little on the twitchy side. For an asphalt guy it made me nervous. I will be ordering the RX-8 so i will let you know how it runs.

He'll need this one: http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=7497

the super safe side beams will fend off hack jobs, and the 8 passenger air bags will keep electronics safe

I understand about the twitchiness, I wish someone besides Yok had an 2nd gen RX7 body, I think that one is 190 anyway. The 3rd gen one that you ran looks like it would be a little twitchy. A guy around here ran the RX8 in touring novice last year and did alright with it so it may not be bad.
