Ok, thanks. So all the glue application schemes is a 1/12 scale only thing.

I only resort to glue if the traction is super high. I havent had any traction roll issues otherwise that couldnt be tuned out through setup

well I think of trying a WGT car and going with a DB10R now also. I just think if converting my DB12RR makes sense or going with a new kit. I think I have a lot of stuff from the wide pancars laying around here also, maybe I could use some pieces from them beside the required graphite parts. What wide is the left hub from the rear axle on the DB10R?

Is there a foam bumper from BMI for the DB10R or is there any other what will work for the DB10R?

Jason, I have some special questions. It seems I have problems with private messages sometimes. What emailaddress should I use for contacting you?

I think you still might come out ahead by just buying a DB10RR kit rather then converting.

Still wouldn't mind seeing a nicely priced conversion kit for the DB12R/RR to DB10R/RR status

buying a 2nd kit is a great way to buy spares. i don't see that much that is redundant that isn't also a potential replacement item for either car.

I got a chance to run 1S lipo this weekend and must say, i love it. The car runs excellent with the 1S and didnt really require any setup changes. The BMI cars hit the fastest laps of the day and took TQ by over a lap and won the main. The car worked extremely well.

I was just wondering how you mounted the battery? the retention plate height is fine, but the front shock mounting stud retaining nut interferes with a lipo battery. is there a trick? seems like i need to add about 3/16" shim under the supports and then some foam rubber or some kind of cushioning to fill the gap?

I'm having the exact same problem. I haven't run my car in a while because I got tired of messing with round cells. A fellow racer loaned me his single cell, but I ran into this issue. Also, Jason are you running the 0* blocks and shims in the back for outdoor or in indoor carpet?

I taped the battery in and did not use the weighted tray. The weighted tray would have made me over weight. With the lipo and race ready with no weight i was at 870 grams. I had to add some weight to get to the 930 to be legal.I took a battery locator plate and clipped it in 1/2 and flipped it around and used it as a front stop for the pack. Battery never moved. I will snap some pics and post my setup. The car was simply amazing. I was very happy with it.

The weighted tray is for use with 7.4 volt lipo to help keep the car controllable. Single cell doesnt need it.

Ah...that being the case we probably don't need the 2 that I put in my latest order for IIC, I believe that will be a 1 cell LiPo race in WGT. Let me know if I'm not right.

That is correct. You will need to add weight but not the full weight of our lipo tray. I am going to make a lighter one for 1s lipo shortly
