I managed to bunk off work for 30 minutes and get some from a nearby shop. Got to see if this tames the car

hey jason quick question, on your 1/12 scale where the side plate mounts at the front you have the short spacer on the bottom but with the 10th scale it mounts on top. is this a tuning option?

Yes it is. This is what we found works best on each car.

Ran the car with a few changes, but have gone back to kit setup except for the following.

cells at rear most possition.
10k side damper weight

tyres are 2x pink front, aqua rears.

I can't get the power down at all. Not even at 1/4 throttle without the back becoming the front ! The car was drivable at the start of the session but became unusable at the end. Checked everything I could while at the track but couldnt find anything. My mate there running the same car and near enough same setup was having a much better time. This makes me think something has gone wrong on my car and its mechanical not setup causing the spins. I'm also going to try another servo on a hunch that the current one might not be centering fully after the turn.

Next run will be Sunday unless it rains.

What you should check is that the pod is level at ride height. Check all 4 corners of the pod while it is sitting at ride height race ready. Also make sure that the front end isnt bound up. The car should be very well planted in the rear. If you cant figure it out, send the car to me and i will check it out for you and get it set right. I will let you know what the problems were so you know for next time.

Just wanted to let the onroad racers know that we oval racers love the BMI pinions. If you are not using them you should. They are very light and are very slick with the awesome coating on them.

Hey guys,

I am in the process of making a cool new tire truer arbor. It is 1 arbor that fits 1/12th front and rear wheels,1/10th pan car front and rear wheels, and TC wheels. This is the 1st time this has ever been done. I should have it done by the end of the week so i will post pics and put it on the site.
